Damwatch Engineering Ltd has an opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager for a full-time role based in Wellington or Christchurch, New Zealand.
Damwatch is a specialised engineering consultancy - we focus on dams and their associated structures, providing strategic engineering and dam safety services for maintaining and developing dam infrastructure in New Zealand and overseas. This is a new role; due to increased workload we are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager to support these projects.
The Role
We are looking for a Civil Engineer with at least 10 years' experience in project management of civil engineering design and analysis projects, implementation and delivery of site-based works. You need to be experienced in the field of Civil Engineering and able to contribute to projects both as a Project Manager and Civil Engineer. You will need to be a self-starter, motivated, willing to learn, an open communicator, and keen to make the most of working alongside experts in the dam engineering field.
The Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager role is an opportunity to work alongside and support a group of professional engineers working on challenging dam projects and to have the opportunity to develop your own area(s) of expertise.
